Jay Tyler, Director of Sales for Wheatstone Corporation

Jay Tyler is the Director of Sales for Wheatstone Corporation with responsibility for the company’s four divisions: commercial audio, processing, television, and radio.  He has been with Wheatstone Corporation in various roles of increasing responsibility since 1996, when he started as a sales engineer.  Wheatstone is a manufacturer of audio equipment for the broadcast and commercial audio industries headquartered in New Bern, NC, where they manufacture audio equipment in their state-of-the-art facility.

Mr. Tyler has been a major contributor to the growth of the company.  He headed up the Audio Arts Division, where he was responsible for creating worldwide distribution channels with over 50 dealers in 50 different countries.  Through those relationships and marketing, Mr. Tyler has helped make Wheatstone the most popular broadcast console company in the world.

Prior to Wheatstone, Mr. Tyler was working his way through college at an audio video company. Client and Wheatstone founder, Gary Snow, recognized his sales talent combined with technical acumen, and offered him a position with the company.  Practically born an audiophile, Mr. Tyler started working with consumer audio at the age of 14 with basic 12-volt automotive audio.  By the age of 18 he was designing, selling and installing premier home AV Systems.

When he’s not traveling for Wheatstone, Jay enjoys boating, skiing, golfing and, of course, “Listening to the Radio.”
