Harold Tristram Miller, Jr., CEO/President of Miller Communications
Harold Tristram Miller, Jr. is CEO/President of Miller Communications. He has an extensive background in the field of broadcast that started at the age of twelve in his bedroom, where he build an AM/FM radio station as part of a school project. Mr. Miller built and managed his high school radio station, which was the first high school radio station in the state.
He went on to work in several radio and television stations in the Columbia & Florence, South Carolina areas. Harold has had a variety of positions including on-air, management, and engineering. He has worked for both public and private broadcasting companies. While working on-air, in the early eighties, he raised over $25,000 for MDA with the MDA Roof Top Sit where he had to sit 96 hours straight in order to raise the funds.
Upon graduation from the University of South Carolina, he worked as a State Agent for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. He also had the opportunity, while there, to work on a television show that the organization help produced with SCETV.
He now proudly owns and operates Miller Communications, which has fifteen stations in South Carolina.
